Muslims mock the victims of 9/11 and spit in the face of the Western world – which is afraid of being Islamophobic

New York mayor Zohran Mamdani is not only a fanatical socialist but also a proud Muslim. He defends convicted terrorists and denies the Holocaust (here). Among his favorite slogans is "GLOBALIZING THE INTIFADA." Naturally, the victims' relatives did not want him to attend the memorial ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the Islamic attack on America of 11 September 2001, in which 3,000 people had perished. Yet Mamdani refused to miss this provocation; he was determined to use his presence to spit directly in the faces of all decent people.

He did not stop at this provocation; a few days before the anniversary, he claimed that the dust and smoke released during the attacks had caused the deaths of far more people than the terrorist attacks themselves. Of course, the aerosol released during the collapse of the buildings must have caused significant health issues, but it is obviously a secondary matter, and the blame for any consequences of the terror attack lies with the terrorists and their supporters. The cunning socialist Mamdani dangled this bait before the leftist tabloid press, thus skillfully and in true Leninist fashion diverting attention away from Bin Laden and placing the blame on American politicians.

Most media outlets jumped on this sensational story without hesitation: "Mamdani states that political leaders lied about air quality regarding 9/11" (NYT here, BBC here). "Mamdani announced on Tuesday that more people died from illnesses linked to the attacks than in the attacks themselves" (CNN here). "400,000 people were exposed to dust" (here). "The blame lies with then-President Bush and then-mayor Giuliani, as well as the US Environmental Protection Agency" (here). Allegedly, all this stems from 170,000 pages of a report that Mamdani has now reviewed and is presenting to the world with his surprising conclusions; according to him, up to 140,000 people were affected, with 49,000 developing cancer (here).

Almost all media outlets reported Mamdani’s claims without any doubts—without using words like "allegedly" at least once—treating them entirely as hard facts: facts pointing to a crime committed by US authorities rather than by Islamic terrorists. Czech media were no exception. Novinky: "New York leadership lied about toxic air after 9/11, mayor Mamdani declared" (here). iDNES: "Authorities knew about toxic air after 9/11 but claimed otherwise, documents show" (here). Aktuálně: "They lied about toxic hazards after 9/11, New York mayor issues a scathing accusation" (here). Czech Radio: " ‘People fell ill because of lies.’ New York failed to disclose information about toxic air after 9/11, says Mamdani" (here). Blesk: "A big lie after the 9/11 attacks?! Documents reveal New York withheld key information" (here).

If journalists from all those media outlets had simply turned to Google, they would have discovered that Manhattan has 1.5 million inhabitants of whom about 375,000 would usually die over a 25-year period; cancer would take 63,000 people – a figure even exceeding the 49,000 cancer cases cited by Mamdani. Furthermore, a quick Google search would have revealed that the health impact of aerosols from those explosions was not some sensational discovery made by Mamdani on September 8th; rather, these matters had already been reported on (for instance, here, here). Mamdani skillfully recycled existing rumors, mingling murderous terrorists with deadly aerosols, and exploiting the media's obsession with the environment and their fears of both aerosols and Islamophobia. Every communist and Islamist would give him top marks. Yet, it is shocking that no one protests against diverting attention away from the crime committed by Islamists and, more importantly, against exploiting the tragic anniversary for launching demagogic accusations against American politicians and the United States itself.

The message that sticks in everyone's mind from the media headlines is: AMERICAN POLITICAL LEADERS LIED ABOUT 9/11—and that was precisely the goal of this diabolical campaign. It echoes conspiracy theories claiming the U.S. blew up New York itself to manufacture a pretext for foreign aggression—notions that some readers believe. While journalists generally do not rank among the brightest people, they do possess information and certainly know that Islamists were behind the September 11 attacks, just as they are behind nearly all terrorist attacks worldwide (and, nowadays, behind a large share of criminal acts as well). In my opinion, there is no polite way to answer the question of why journalists do not protest against Mamdani’s provocations—or at least offer some mild criticism of them. To put it briefly and politely: truth and morality always come last for them (with courage coming second to last).

We remember how brave rescuers entered burning buildings just moments before they collapsed. We remember how desperate people jumped from the New York skyscrapers to escape the flames. We remember how the Islamists rejoiced. And today, that very New York has an Islamist mayor. A communist. A cunning and cynical propagandist who insists on attending the memorial service for martyrs murdered by the very terror he sympathizes with. Moreover, just days before the memorial, he speaks not of Islamic terror, but of deadly air pollution (which he has conveniently just "discovered"). It is incomprehensible that an ordinary American would elect an Islamist as mayor, but even more incomprehensible is the fact that not a single media outlet I have checked dared to utter a word against his provocations.

Not only do journalists fear criticizing Mamdani because he is a Muslim, but many even try to portray Islam in the best possible light. A typical example is an article by Czech Radio, which depicts New York Muslims at the time of the attack as victims of Islamophobia: "After the 9/11 attacks, the US was consumed by hostility toward New York Muslims." Yet the situation has reportedly improved significantly today because "the mayor is a Muslim, public prayers are held in Times Square, and new mosques are springing up across the city" (here). I cannot shake off a terrible thought: if we were all like journalists, the West would have only a few years left to live—simply until the Muslim birth rates and their migration completely broke the will of decent people to defend themselves. History teaches us that Muslims need not be a majority; during their conquests, they subjugated surrounding states even when their numbers were far smaller than those of the indigenous populations.

The Muslims did massacre 3,000 people in the US on 11 September 2001; however, when the 25th anniversary arrives, almost all media outlets reveal that smoke and US authorities killed even more people. The Muslims did kill 1,200 people in Israel on 7 October 2023; however, three years later, almost all media outlets write that the defense mounted by Israeli shepherds against Arab attackers constitutes a far more dangerous crime. Unfortunately, it is not just the media; most politicians fear standing up to the Islamic threat as well. It is easiest to go with the flow. Anyone who swims against the current risks being labeled a primitive Islamophobe—just as, in the past, anyone who recognized the crimes of the communists was branded a primitive anti-communist. The fact is that Islamism and communism coexist almost idyllically in today's world (the "green-red alliance"), despite their apparent incompatibility, not only because both are characterized by pathological dishonesty and pathological bestiality, but primarily due to a shared interest in destroying the West.

Ordinary citizens are powerless. They cannot choose different media, but occasionally, they can try to choose different politicians. During those occasional elections, they should remember that the greatest danger facing today's world is the green-red alliance.
